Beau Dommage, the seminal group whose music has spanned the ages, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of its first album in 2024. To mark the occasion, Productions Martin Leclerc, in collaboration with the band members, is announcing a grandiose encounter between the Orchestre Métropolitain and their music, in a symphonic version of their greatest hits.
This concert, entitled "Ça fait 50 ans qu'on se connaît," will bring a new dimension to their repertoire, featuring songs chosen by the band themselves—the must-haves, of course, but also the full-length version of Un incident à Bois-des-Filion, sure to be a highlight of the show.
"Ça fait 50 ans qu'on se connaît" will celebrate a timeless love affair between Beau Dommage and the public, so much so that five decades later, several generations are still humming their songs.
By elevating the mundane to the level of urban poetry, the now-legendary group set a milestone in Quebec music history. Beau Dommage was, is and will be. The show "Ça fait 50 ans qu'on se connaît" with the Orchestre Métropolitain will demonstrate this with panache.
